Doing my Taxes

It is the middle of February, and I recently I downloaded and paid for HR Block "Tax Cut" which I have been using for the past 12 years to do my taxes in the USA (needs to be submitted by Mid-April). I also found a Free Federal Income Tax online program (FreeTaxUSA), which is accepted by the IRS so I am doing both to see if next year I can do to the free online filing. This year putting information in, is more completed (for me) because I sold investments. (Next year I won't have to deal with that again, I sold all my investments on Dec 31, 2019).
I also have to file taxes in Holland (which I have never done before) the beginning of March.....

Feb 10, 2020: Athens

After 1 week of good weather with temperatures around 19 degrees, it was cold on Saturday and Sunday, but today the skies are blue again and plenty of sunshine.
The past 5 years I have stayed in Athens during the winter, leaving at the end of February. This year I had the same plan, but I changed it: I am leaving Athens on March 28. A bit of early Spring...
I have my whole collection of films and television shows with me, on a USB drive.I finished 7 seasons of the Mentalist and now I am watching "Justified". If I finish it before I leave Athens, I will start on the "Sopranos".
I am reading a lot on the internet about health insurance and what is needed, in terms of documents, for moving to Greece.

Jan 26, 2016: Bari - Patras

Jan 26
Taking the ferry boat today from Bari to Patras.
I have a very long day ahead, arriving in Patras after 16 hours on a boat. and of course last night it was noisy outside.
Got on a train from Monopoli to Bari at 13.22, arrived at Bari Centrale 35 minutes later. Walked out the building (towards track 1) to where the buses were stationed. (I had to take bus #20/, not to be confused with bus #20), waited 20 minutes for it. Paid 1 euro and after a 15 minutes ride, arrived at the cruise/ferry terminal.
The blue building is where you get the boat tickets and is also a waiting area.
I had a hot chocolate and bruschetta while I waited for check-in, which was at 17.30.
The ANEK Superfast II, going to Patras. Completely Greek, with Greek television.....
The ship has a comfortable indoor seating area, (You can also sit outside)
If it is not busy you can stretch out over 3 chairs. Wifi (5 euro until arrival in Patras), store and a cafe
 and a restaurant
I just heard that we are ready to leave. Arriving in Patras tomorrow at 13.00 hour.

Jan 27

In Patras I was the first pedestrian of the boat. Good that I did because it took me 10 minutes to walk to the bus station, where the Athens bus was leaving at 13.00! The next bus was at 15.00. The fare was 20.60 euro.
16.30
Arrived at the Kifissia bus station, and took line 51 to Omonia Square, Ticket was 1.20 euro. From there I walked to the hotel.
16.55

Feb 04, 2020: Athens-Patras-Athens

I went to Patras with friends on Saturday, stayed 2 nights, back to Athens on Monday.
We slept at the country house and visited the apartment that they own in downtown Patras.
Train route through Patras
We agreed that I am going to rent the apartment.
And to try it out for 1 year, starting Oct of this year, to see how it would work out, long term.
